Energy usage

We are monitoring the natural resources we use. We collect electricity and gas readings every week. We also generate electricity from our photovoltaic cells and record how much energy we generate. We have started to collect water usage information as well now.
Electricity	We try to reduce the electricity we use by switching off lights we are not using. We switch off computers and projectors which are not in use. We use flourescent bulbs and energy savings bulbs where appropriate. We have fitted timers to our photocopier, our water cooler and two printers to save energy. We have labels near to each of our light switches to remind people to switch off lights when not in use.
Gas	We try to reduce our gas consumption by turning down our thermostat and reducing the temperature of the water in our radiators. We try to keep doors and windows closed.
Water Used	We try to reduce our water consumption by collecting water in water butts. We have labels near to each of our sinks to remind people to turn off taps when not in use.
